Q. Do I need to bring a music stand?

A. There will be music stands available at the school however if you can bring one then it would be useful for practising in your room.

Q. Do I need to bring my own bedding?

A. No, the school will provide bedding.

Q. Should I bring the piano parts?

A. Yes - please bring piano parts for all the music that you intend to play throughout the week. Our pianists are fantastic but it's great to be able to provide them with the dots!

Q. Apart from my flute and my music what else should I pack?

A. Clothing: We recommend that you come prepared, as the weather can be a little unpredictable! The summer in Scotland can be warm, but showers are a normal occurrence. Bring suitable lightweight waterproof clothing. Most visitors from Europe and further afield find it colder than they expect so bring some warm jumpers!

Photo Equipment: There is a lot of beautiful architecture and natural aesthetic beauty in St Andrews so bring a camera!

Q. Can I stay the night before the course begins?

A. Unfortunately we can't provide accommodation on either the 23rd or the 31st July. There are many good hotels, and bed and breakfasts. Check out these sites to find accommodation: http://www.laterooms.com/ or http://www.visitscotland.com/shop/accommodation/
